INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

30-minute Sessions: $65
Couples Therapy
Couples sessions are 50-60 minutes in duration and include each partner. I often get asked: “What if we aren’t married yet? Will you still work with us?” The answer is, Absolutely - Yes!
Couples Counseling: $150
If you’d like a longer session (90 minute session), these are also available.
90-minute Sessions: $225
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy sessions are typically 50 - 60 minutes. The same applies as above (refer to individual counseling adolescents, adults, and children).
1 hour EMDR therapy - $130
Some individuals prefer to have extended sessions for EMDR specifically. If this is something agreed upon with your therapist you can expect the following pay rates:
90 minute EMDR therapy: $195
2 hour EMDR therapy: $260
*some individuals prefer to attend EMDR sessions bi-weekly with an extended duration (e.g. bi-weekly, with 2 hour sessions). If this is something you are interested in, or later decide you would prefer, please talk with your therapist. If you would like even longer duration of EMDR - please consult with your therapist.
TELETHERAPY
*Currently only accepting teletherapy clients!*
Teletherapy is conducted through an online platform that is safe and secure. Your therapist can provide you a link in which you partake in counseling through video and audio.
Benefit of teletherapy: Even if you are feeling ill, are on vacation, roads are bad due to ice/snow, etc. you are still able to utilize your counseling resources! Teletherapy has been around for a while, but after COVID-19 happened, therapists quickly learned how to navigate teletherapy and provide quality services to individuals.
Bonus: you can even be in your PJ’s or bed, or just in the comfort of your home or car for counseling. :)
Couples Workshops Coming Soon!
If you are in a relationship and your partner is not quite ready for therapy, that is okay! I will soon be releasing workshops that you can do at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home. Contact me to be put on the waitlist!

BENEFITS OF SELF-PAY / PRIVATE PAY VERSUS INSURANCE
Your personal information stays completely confidential! Your insurance company does not have access to your records, your mental health diagnosis, type of treatment, or whether or not your are receiving treatment.
You can decide the frequency and duration of your treatment. You are in control of this versus your insurance company trying to limit your sessions or make you justify receiving treatment after a period of time.
You don’t have to deal with coverage changes, or failures to cover treatment (Yes, this does happen sometimes). Your insurance company will never deny a claim or suddenly fail to cover services after a policy change.
Payments are predictable & easy to budget. No surprise payments or changes due to unmet deductibles.
If you still prefer to use your insurance - please refer to the following section “Insurance?”
INSURANCE?
“Do you accept insurance?”
Short answer: No, but some insurance accepts me. Let me explain.
Mental health counseling is typically covered by most insurance companies now. Some insurance companies will reimburse you, as the payer, for attending mental health counseling.
I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% upfront on our sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your copay would be.
